In view of the current financial and economic uncertainty, a local Lvsang School of Taoism by the name of Dou Yim Tua held its annual sintua celebration during the feast day of Taishang Laojun aka The Founder of Taoism. A temporary tentage was set up in a crowded housing estate of Chua Chu Kang. Beside the thanksgiving rituals in proper, they have included a ritual of Mitigating Risks ceremony as well as Crossing of Seven-Star Bridge ceremony for the purpose of guiding their faithful devotees safe from future endeavour.
That evening, the sintua's faithful devotees followed behind our Taoist Master and crossed over the bridge after one and another. Some of them were muttered prayers during the process. Interestingly, few of them made some animals sound during the walk and caused much laughter. After the ceremony, the pilgrims were treated with food and drink and everybody was enjoying till late night.
